What is Positive Psychology?

Positive psychology is a scientific and applied social science field that focuses on the strengths, traits, capacities, and experiences that contribute to human flourishing at both the individual and group levels. It represents a conceptual shift towards a resource-focused approach in psychology, which also recognizes that individuals are embedded in their cultures, groups, and environment.

Jenny is a consummate professional. She understands the science behind positive psychology and can explain it in a way that is easily understandable. We worked together on a project to support youth impacted by incarceration, and she devised activities for teens to understand and regulate their emotions that were research-based, engaging, and empowering. I highly recommend Jenny Brennan.
